Are You Adding or Multiplying at Christmas? is the book I said I would never write. After all, I am a pastor, not a writer. My heart is to pastor people, not to sit at a computer alone for days, writing to people I may never meet.
This book and its website are a labor of love, pain, and great passion about something God has called me to do, one of the highlights in my over forty years of full-time pastoral ministry.
Whether you have stumbled upon this website by accident or not, I invite you along on a journey that began long before I became a pastor. In fact, it began when I was only five years old. It is my story seen from the perspective of Christmas. But it is not just my story, it also belongs to thousands of others who have called Oasis Church their home and the many thousands who have experienced Christmas at the Oasis (CATO) over the last twenty-five years. I hope it may nudge you and your church to fulfill the Great Commission by impacting your community in 25 days during Christmastime.

Guy Melton serves as senior and founding pastor of Oasis Church of South Florida in Pembroke Pines, Florida. He loves his diverse congregation from over 90 countries and has a passion to dream big for God’s glory.
He has a passion not only for extending God’s Kingdom through his love for international missions but also for living in a missional local community. During over 40 years of ministry, he has seen the impact of the love of Christ in the many thousands of people who come to Oasis Church every year. His heart’s desire for Are You Adding or Multiplying at Christmas? is to share the good news that any church, no matter what size, can have a similar impact on their community.
Pastor Guy has been married for 47 years to his high school sweetheart, Tonia, and has three grown sons and four grandchildren. Even though he loves to travel, he is devoted to his slice of paradise in South Florida.
